The Shameless Lion Writers are at it again!

Shameless' Lions and Lionesses have a new writing project up: it's based on a photograph of someone hailing a taxi in New York and looks very good so far with two writers having contributed.

It works through each subsequent writer nominating the next. So far, Shameless began it, CB continued it, and Scarlett is next. Go read it on the above link - it's great - Grace the protagonist is quite mysterious...

I can't wait for my turn - I have a feeling this story will grow in unexpected ways!

Oh sure... add to the mounting pressure by telling everyone! AGH!

Sorry... just handed in two enormous essays and did a speech last night at school... my brain (or the fizzly little spot of it that's hiding in the corner of my head, shaking and whimpering) may not come out of hiding and - AND - I got tagged right away, you know Shameless and Chief are SUCH good writers.
No pressure here at all.

sob.

S'okay. I can do it. Hopefully it'll be up by Sunday nightish.
Please pray for me... or something useful... hmm?

;o)

Thanks for the feedback Cailleach - I think you're right about the development of the story ... I can't wait to see where Grace will end up!

Scarlett - you'll be fine: you know what they say, if you want something done ask a busy person ;)

CB it is great, I got a real sense of the person being revealed in layers, like an onion ;)

C.S. I do too... who knows what'll happen..!

I wonder where the story will lead us all... I can't help wonder thought with so many of us Shameless Lions that it mightn't become a bit unwieldy - we're all going to have to behave and write very well - think we're up to that? ;-)

Thought I'd drop a little line... Seamus actually introduced Sebastian, at the very end of his part; when she turned her phone off, the picture of 'sebastian and the two little ones' faded... so I emailed Seamus and said, who are they? Of course he was very helpful and said.. they are whoever you make them!
Well, I decided to introduce Jack, so I didn't want to go overboard and try and define everybody, so I left 'sebastian and the two little ones' out in the open. I just didn't want him to have been her jerk husband. So he's not. Jack would never have called the husband.

Got all that? I sure don't. Sheesh! It'll be interesting to keep up with it all, yes?

thanks for coming over to read it.
Onward Minx!

Aha! Somehow I missed that detail - that's what I get for being an ex-press reader and reading too fast! Sebastian is too nice a name to waste on a waster! Thanks for explaining S & V :)

Cailleach,
A blogmoot! I'm still in Dublin ... today (Monday) and tomorrow. If you can jump on the train easily, name a time and a place ... (i'll send you my mobile phone number by email for a text). You could bring a signed copy of your book ... which I would love to read. But don't sweat it, if a blogmoot is not possible now, then maybe my next visit ... sometime in November probably.

Damn, now I can't see your email contact anywhere here ... I would leave my number here but who knows who could see it and phone me at all hours of the night with heavy breathing. I will check through my old emails and see if I you in there somewhere.

Shameless it will have to be November, I am stuck in college in Belfast and I can't afford to miss it - it is poetry after all! Next time we will do it for sure!
