Peculiar Happenings in Western Ireland

A man who was found dressed in latex and handcuffs brought a donkey to his room in a Galway city centre hotel, because he was advised "to get out and meet people," the local court heard last week... read more here!

This story has done the rounds of the world, apparently, and demonstrates how the maxim, 'Never let the truth get in the way of a good story', still holds true!

Here in Scotland it's just the sheep that get nervous, though I've heard from fishermen that some have been a little too partial to skate in the past!

When next in a Galway, I'll keep ears pricked... for hooves on staircases and braying in lifts.
Spent a great New Yr there 2 or 3 yrs ago, so shall study my photos again VERY carefully..I may well have missed something.
