How far ahead of its time 'Roger Rabbit' seemed in those pre-CGI days. Yet like MGM and WB cartoons of the '40 and '50s, it retains its charm.
Yes, it does and I think just for the reasons you give - everyone loves a Bogart moview and the 'toons of that era.
