Getting out of my mind and into the world
I loved this, it conjured up images of sitting in old pubs in Westport, playing in sessions! And a little sad bit at the end?A fine poem from the land of fine music!
Cheers jon m - funnily enough I was at a great session ceoil on Friday night.
I liked this: the tone suits the subject really well and it flows very naturally. The only problem I had was with the drunken trolls - seemed to clash somewhat as an image and it didn't seem in tone with the rest of the poem. Glad you're enjoying the poetry workshop.
I'm happy with the drunken trolls & all accompanying verses. Much to enjoy here.
I raise a tankard to Dick and Ben, thanks for the reads
